WWE Spoilers: Updates on Stone Cold Steve Austin's WrestleMania 30 status, The Rock reveals original Mania plans
The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin are two of the biggest stars to ever grace WWE, but if recent reports are true, then neither man will appear at WrestleMania 30 this April.
The Rock hosted a "Rock Talk" on Twitter on New Year's Eve during which he answered questions from fans. One person asked him when he would return to WWE for WrestleMania 30 and if it would be his last time with the company before he enters the Hall of Fame. The Rock responded by revealing the company's original plan for the big event:
Between Vince, Brock & myself our Wrestlemania 30 plan was ROCK vs BROCK. No plans now for 30 but possibly WM 31. #RockTalk @_JordanMayoral

Once The Rock all but confirmed that he would not be at WrestleMania 30, curious eyes turned to Stone Cold Steve Austin and his possible involvement at this year's Mania. PWInsider.com reports the latest update that if Stone Cold does appear at the show, then it would more than likely be in a non-wrestling role.
In the past, Austin has talked publicly about the possibility of wrestling against CM Punk at some point, but recent reports indicate that WWE has planned for Punk to face Triple H at WrestleMania 30. This could change, of course, but it seems for now that Austin vs. Punk is not in the cards for this year's Mania.
Furthermore, PWInsider.com reports that sources within WWE claim that Stone Cold has not been too keen on working a match in 2014. He has said on his "Steve Austin Show" podcast and said that his age and the amount of time it would take him to get back into shape to work a match might preclude him from doing so.
He also recently appeared on Chris Jericho's "Talk is Jericho" and spoke candidly about the WWE product. He said that the lack of freedom and inability to improvise in the ring could also stop him from getting back into the ring for one more match.
