In Theaters This Week: Check out trailers for 'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones,' 'Labor Day' and more coming to a big screen this weekend!
January is considered a pretty weak month for new movie releases, but the first week of the new year definitely has some interesting titles to offer. Plus we missed a big release from last week, so we can talk about that film, too! Let's celebrate the new year with some previews of the movies in theaters this weekend including Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, Open Grave, and Labor Day!
A safe bet for production houses has to be the horror genre, and this weekend gives us a new addiction to a popular franchise with Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Whether you're sick of this found-footage franchise or not, this new movie is sure to include plenty of scares and jumps as the other movies in the series, but with a brand new storyline.

The psychological thriller Open Grave hits the big screen this weekend. Rotten Tomatoes summarises the film, saying: A man (Sharlto Copley, DISTRICT 9, ELYSIUM) wakes up in a pit of dead bodies with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Click HERE to read more.

The last film that we'll feature on this list (because this is a slow week for releases) is a new film from Jason Reitman called Labor Day. Originally hitting select theaters on December 27, this movie star Kate Winslett and Josh Brolin in a dramatic, coming of age tale involving a strange man holding up in a household while on the run from the law.
