Taylor Swift Dating Rumors 2014: 'Romeo and Juliet' actor Douglas Booth blows off Harry Styles' ex-girlfriend?

It has been quite some time since we've heard of any romance or dating rumors surrounding "I Knew You Were Trouble" songstress Taylor Swift, but a new year means new claims from new "insiders." The latest alleged "target" on Taylor's mind is British hunk Douglas Booth who recently starred opposite Swift's bestie Hailee Steinfeld in the recent adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. According to this new rumor, Booth was giving Swift the cold shoulder at a recent event in November for the film.

"Taylor kept on making an effort to flirt with Douglas, but he gave her the cold shoulder and was extremely dismissive towards her," said an insider, according to the New York Daily News.

Though this news source isn't exactly reputable, the rumor is still pretty interesting. According to this source, Taylor didn't take no for an answer from Booth at this SoHo House event.

"She would get a drink and then approach him; she would chat with Hailee Steinfeld and then re-approach him; she was even trying to chat him up near the flowers on display. It was all very funny for those of us watching," the catty insider continued. "Taylor and Hailee were chatting about Douglas while they all touched up their makeup. Taylor was whining and complaining about his aloofness toward her. She looked like an animal circling its prey, when she tried to get his attention."

These quotes are pretty biased against Taylor and treats the singer like a love-crazed lunatic, so we should definitely not read too far into this rumor.
