Watch WWE legend Ric Flair's pre-game speech to the San Francisco 49ers before their NFL victory over the Green Bay Packers
The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League's NFC wild-card match this weekend, thus knocking out the Wisconsin football team from the Super Bowl playoffs for the second year in a row. Though this victory was well fought for and earned, we could have the reasoning behind the success of the 49ers caught on tape and shared on the Internet. According to some new video footage, WWE professional wrestling legend Ric Flair stopped in during a San Francisco meeting to rile up the team before the win!
Although Flair has lived in North Carolina since the 1970's he claimed San Francisco as his favorite NFL team. The 49ers were gathered for a team meeting before the game, and got a big surprise as Flair entered the darkened room. As the lights went on, the players noticed the wrestling legend and starting shouting his iconic "woo" yell at him. From there, Flair began his short speech to rile up the team.
Mainly thanking the players and the management for inviting him out to speak, the "Nature Boy" said he was "elated" to be the one to get these talented athletes going the night before their big matchup. Speaking about the history of the team, he reminded the young players of all of the greatness that comes along with the San Francisco 49ers and how they have continued it.
