Watch the 6 best digital originals from 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' including Jersey Floor and Downton Sixbey
The Best of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon aired on NBC on Sunday night, honoring the host as he gets close to transitioning over to The Tonight Show. Many moments have inspired hysterical laughter through the years, but beyond just interviews, ridiculous games that involve carpet samples as prizes and skits with celebrity guests smashing eggs on their own heads, the show has given us some unique "digital originals."
It isn't clear at this point what parts of Late Night will continue over at The Tonight Show. It would be surprising if some of the regular bits like "Thank You Notes" didn't just merge over into the new gig. But, regardless of what new fun things Fallon and the team has planned, we thought we'd take a look at some of the best truly original comedic mastery that has been produced by Late Night.
1. “Joking Bad” – Fallon does a remarkable job recreating the essence of Breaking Bad’s Walter White in this spoof.
2. “Downton Sixbey” – One of the standout digital originals in the Late Night repertoire is this clever take on Downton Abbey, which took its name from the fact that the show is filmed in studio 6B.
3. “The Real Housewives of Late Night” – Of course it’s almost always hilarious when men dress up as women and really own it. Fallon has mastered that skill, and you can see it in the show’s take on Real Housewives.
4. “Jersey Floor” - Fallon plays a very convincing version of a Jersey guy in this spoof of Jersey Shore.
5. “Robert is Bothered” – Twilight superstar Robert Pattinson doesn’t always come across as the most cheerful guy, and Fallon didn’t hesitate to roll with that.
6. “Cupid’s Arrow” – Ladies get a look at some men who they can only dream of in this digial original, including keepers like Brustin Pouch and Chiz Dippler.
