Papoose releases "We Live In Brooklyn Baby" off new mixtape
Papoose jumped on the stage at last year's Summer Jam to let people beyond the world of blog-devouring NYC-rap fetishists know that he was, in fact, still alive. And look at the good it did him, we're covering him releasing a new track called "We Live In Brooklyn Baby" from his upcoming mixtape on Mstars.
The rhymes are pretty solid, but Pap goes full Silkk The Shocker a few times and loses the beat in service of an extra-long line. Not to mention that Papoose's undying dedication to the idea that New York still holds some sort of sway on the rap game in a post-Internet world is a little sad.
Also, I hope he's not actually living inside a Brooklyn baby. That'd be horrific (Seriously, man. You write lyrics for a living. You should know how a comma works).
Papoose's new mixtape Hoodie Season 2 is coming soon.
