Never-before-seen Kanye West 1998 freestyle featured in Cap 1's 'Caviar Dreams' promo

Cap 1's latest mixtape Caviar Dreams seems to have a "know your roots" theme to it. So what better way to show off that theme (and gain some much-needed buzz) than fill your promo trailer with an old home video of a 1998 basement freestyle that just so happens to include yourself and Kanye West.

The never-before-released clip shows that Yeezy was calling himself "Kanye To The" before the turn of the century (and it certainly went better than his most recent freestyle). We can add it to our collection of pre-College Dropout tchotchkes like this story and his former rap group's mixtape.
