The Ben Stiller-produced half-hour series Big Time in Hollywood, FL is set to appear on Comedy Central. Ten episodes of the series have been ordered by the network's owner Viacom. Alex Anfanger will star in the show as well as being credited as a writer and executive producer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anfanger will star alongside Lenny Jacobson as two brothers and self-proclaimed filmmakers who have recently been kicked out of their parent's house. They are then forced to fend for themselves as they take on the task of following the American dream.

The show is project that comes from Stiller's Red Hour Productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Big Time in Hollywood, FL was Anfanger and Dan Schimpf, who both executive produce alongside Stiller, Debbie Liebling, Stuart Cornfeld and Mike Rosenstein as well as Brillstein's Lee Kernis and Brian Stern.

Kent Alterman, president of content development and original programming, has had a mission for Comedy Central to have more scripted programs, and that's wher Big Time comes in. "When I arrived, there was a batch of pilots just completed. We picked up Workaholics out of that batch, and I figured that would be the first of many. It's been more difficult than I anticipated," he told THR.

Red Hour Productions has many more projects in its future, like a stand-up series for Comedy Central called Jonah and Kumail, a sketch series called The Birthday Boys for IFC, a take on Stiller's film Reality Bites for NBC and two potential options for HBO. No word yet on when Big Time will premiere.
