'Black Ink Crew' star sues producers, 'they made me look like a slut!' Is VH1 handing out roofies?
Looks like producers of the VH1 show, Black Ink Crew will be getting some papers. According to TMZ, Alexandra Estevez who goes by Alex is filing a lawsuit against Big Fish Entertainment and New Pop Culture Productions for a episode that was shot back in 2012.
Estevez claims that the producers made the girls on the show appear more sluttier than they really are. In the episode, the ex-receptionist seemed to be extremely intoxicated while throwing herself into the arms of the owner of the tattoo shop.
Before the incident, Alex claims that someone with connects in production gave her a drink that had been laced or roofied with a "date rape drug" which completely changed her normal behavior. The reality TV star says she could hardly remember anything, including hitting the owner of the shop.
In addition, Alex claims that producers edited show footage to make her look like a slut. She said she felt violated, which led to her leaving the show back in June.
Alex's friend Ericka, who is not a cast member, claims she was also handed a spiked drink. The two friends have both joined forces in suing the producers for at least $1,000,000.
