Gabrielle Union's ex Darren Sharper arrested for rape: after Dwyane Wade baby mama drama, starlet's former NFL boyfriend charged with sexual assault

Poor Gabrielle Union - some of the men in her life are definitely brewing up intense drama!

As several Mstars fans probably already know, the actress' NBA fiance Dwyane Wade recently fathered a "love child" with a woman named Aja Metoyer. Now, reports confirm that the "Being Mary Jane" beauty's ex-boyfriend - former NFL star Darren Sharper - was just arrested on suspision of rape.

According to TMZ, the 38-year-old Pro Bowler was arrested on Friday (January 17) in LA. The former Super Bowl champ (who once played for the Greenbay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and New Orleans Saints) has been linked to two sexual assault. One inncident occured in October 2013 - the other, more recently in January 2014.

Few details have yet to be released, and the names and ages of the victims still remain unknown.

Charges are still pending, and Sharper was booked in an LA jail. He was later released on a $200,000 bail.
