Jhene Aiko makes U.S. television debut, performs live on 'Fallon'

2014 may very well be Jhene Aiko's year. The SoCal songbird is making quite a name for herself and she recently made her U.S. television debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Aiko stopped by the show to plug her debut EP Sail Out. She also hit the stage to perform "The Worst" with the Roots as her backing band.

Kudos to Jhene for making such big moves.

She recently appeared on tour with Drake after being featuring on his platinum selling album Nothing Was The Same. She also collabed with Detroit rapper Big Sean and she's slated to perform at Coachella this year.

Jhene's debut LP Souled Out is due out in May.

Back in November, Mstars reported that Jhene has completed the album. Here's what she said of her LP:

"The album is done. Production-wise, final touches and mixing are still left. I'm always recording more songs. I'm working on the next and the next project. In my dream world, the album would come first quarter of next year. For sure, 2014 though."

Moody and even kind of thought provoking, Aiko's new project is sure to provide just enough bars for the guys and enough lyrical comfort for the women.

We're sure that her album will follow is similar suit.
