Rajon Rondo responds to Kobe Bryant calling him an a-hole

Rajon Rondo and Kobe Bryant may actually be very similar and the two have no problem expressing how they feel about one another.

The Celtics recently took on the Lakers and Rondo made his return from a torn ACL injury. Kobe is still out with a knee injury but he did come prepared to answer some questions.

When asked how Rondo would handle the Celtics in rebuild mode, Kobe gave a pretty interesting response. Here's what he had to say:

"From what I understand he's an asshole like me, so he'll manage."

Rondo was recently asked to respond to Kobe's comment and he seemed to be flattered by it. He acknowledged that the two are very similar and called Kobe an a-hole back.

At least there's no hard feelings between the two. Things could have gotten ugly if either took it personal.

Coming from a different person or directed towards another recipient, those could have been fighting words.

Rondo had this to say: "That's a great compliment, coming from Kobe. I feel the same way about him."

Guess these two consider each other likeable a-holes. They sure have a peculiar way of showing admiration.
