Roy Garber dead, confirms girlfriend: 'Shipping Wars' star dies of heart attack at 49, A&E and fans offer emotional condolences after sudden death
Reports confirm that Roy Garber - the popular star of A&E's hit reality show "Shipping Wars" - died of a heart attack on Friday, January 17. He was just 49-years-old.
Garber's longtime girlfriend tells TMZ that he was rushed to a hospital in Texas after experiencing a heart attack. Garber could not be saved, and he passed away shortly after.
Family members reveal that Garber has suffered from a heart condition for quite some time now.
A rep for "Shipping Wars" tells the infamous gossip webloid that "[We are] deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family."

Garber's girlfriend claims that his longtime feline companion (pet cat Muffy, also a fixture on the show) was by Garber's side when he passed away. Muffy will be shipped back to Garber's home state of New Hampshire to live with his mom.
