As most fans know by now, the sequel to Man of Steel (Man of Steel 2, Batman vs. Superman, etc.) has been pushed back nearly a year to a release date in May 2016. After weeks of rumor, speculation, hearsay and casting stories, one star's wife has offered some concrete information on the movie.

Jennifer Garner, the wife of Ben Affleck (who plays Bruce Wayne/Batman in the movie), attended the 2014 SAG Awards and Entertainment Tonight caught up with her and asked about the costume. Here's what Garner had to say about the suit:

"I don't think I could get him out of the suit if I...so, no, I'll probably go to the set and look from afar...I've seen the suit. The suit is unbelievably cool. It's a total reinvention. It looks great."

As MStars previously reported, Kevin Smith said the following after he saw the new suit:

"I saw the Batman costume. More than that, I saw a picture of [Ben Affleck] in the costume...I don't want to give anything away 'cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this...I instantly bear hugged [Snyder]. You have not seen this costume on film before. For a comic book fan, it was mind-bending... Because every other movie does this Matrix-y black armor thing...There wasn't a single nipple on this suit. I think everyone is just gonna be like 'Holy S**t!' It's its own thing. We haven't been down this path before. Even the hardest core [most skeptical] person will be like 'Alright, I'm ready.'...It seemed like it was very [redacted] influenced."

Garner and Smith's comments align, which could make for an interesting costume in 2016.
