Ice Cube rides in a Goodyear blimp to complete 'It Was A Good Day'

While it didn't exactly say "Ice Cube's a pimp" the final piece of the "It Was A Good Day" puzzle finally fell into place yesterday when the Goodyear Blimp flew over South Central Los Angeles.

January 20 is the official National Good Day Day (using the clues laid out in the song, comedian Donovan Strain determined that the good day central to the song was 1/20/1992). Because the Internet is a strange, awesome  place, three dudes calling themselves "Team Good Day"  vowed to raise $25,000 for charity as long as Goodyear flew the blimp over Los Angeles.

Ice Cube was down, Jimmy Fallon shouted it out on his late night show and the dudes raised a little over $26K. Luckily, Goodyear was game and took Ice Cube and several kids from the chosen charity A Place Called Home on a ride over the city with the phrase "It's A Good Day" scrolling across it's famed screens.
