Is One Direction recording a new album in 2014? Louis Tomlinson's Twitter post teases excitement for 'Midnight Memories' followup
These days, if a celebrity says something on Twitter, it can be taken as groundbreaking news. So when One Direction member Louis Tomlinson tweeted a simply message of excitement about working on new music with his boy band, the Internet erupted in speculation on the next album!
One Direction just released Midnight Memories, its third studio album, in November, so a new album shouldn't be on the way too soon, right? Well that doesn't mean Louis is any less excited!

Clearly he's just teasing his fans because One Direction has a very busy schedule over the next year: They're embarking on a 117-date world stadium tour entitled "Where We Are." So don't get too excited about a new album coming out in 2014. But could writing for the new record start this year? That just might happen!
Another One Direction member that understands how Twitter posts can be taken the wrong way. Just last week, Liam Payne tweeted a message to one of the Duck Dynasty stars, causing outrage from the media. Liam didn't take too kindly to the controversy surrounding a simple Twitter post, so he went on a bit of a rant attacking the media for taking things out of context. He hasn't posted on Twitter since the day of the rant however. Perhaps he learned his lesson?
