Paul Walker's brother Cody honors legacy after death, NOT with 'Fast and Furious' replacement role: touching Instagram tribute announces new ROWW charity brand manager
Cody Walker wants to keep his older brother Paul Walker's legacy alive. He doesn't plan on taking over the role of Brian O'Conner in the popular "Fast and Furious 7" film franchise, but he will continue working for the deceased actor's charity program, Reach Out WorldWide.
ROWW "is a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts."
The beloved Hollywood star, who died in a tragic car crash back in November, worked hard to keep this organization thriving. And Cody Walker is prepared to put in even more out of respect for his brother's memory.
The younger Walker look-alike recently posted this touching tribute on Instagram:
codywalkerroww: "My family and I truly appreciate the support we have received during this difficult time. One of the many things I admired about my brother was his genuine desire to help others in need. As many of you know, in 2010 @paulwalker founded @reachoutww, a disaster relief organization. It is with great honor that I have decided to join the ROWW team as Brand Manager. I look forward to working with like-minded individuals and partners to ensure ROWW continues to aid those in need in the years to come. As Paul would say 'when you put good will out there, it's amazing what can be accomplished.' We can all make a difference in this world and I am honored to join the ROWW team in fulfilling my brother's legacy and ensure that the good my brother did lives on."
Several fans soon expressed their enthusiastic support. The post has already recieved more than 4,000 "likes" and counting.
Paul Walker was the oldest of four children - two brothers and a sister, Ashley. Just a month before his death, Walker celebrated his brother Caleb's wedding.
Family, friends, and fans continue mourning the loss of the popular "Fast and Furious" star, but may his memory live on through the good deeds of ROWW.
