One Direction mourns death of fan & '1D Crew' Twitter account holder Magda following fatal cardiac arrest [PHOTOS]
This week the boys of One Direction were told some sad news about one of their fans. "Superfan" Magdalena Szablinska reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest that was fatal, ending the 16-year-old's life. Though the members of One Direction love all of their fans, Magdalena (or Magda as she was known to her friends) was special for many reasons, one of which being that she helped run the "1D Crew" Twitter account. She has been in numerous pictures with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan as well.
A post of the "1D Crew" Twitter account broke the news:
"hi it's magda friend, I also have a twitter, but id like for that to remain private, she'd appreciate all these message you're all sending and I'm sure she's reading them in the place she is now and she's happier then ever, she will be missed be many and it's shock to all that's she's gone, and I'm sure she loves you all x ... From now on this twitter will be inactivate, have a nice day and cherish every moment you have left it can be taken away instantly." [sic]
Harry Styles took some time to talk with The Evening Standard about Magda, too.
"She was a really special girl, so full of life and good humor," he said. "She was a bright girl and picked up English very quickly. She has tremendous potential. Magda was kind, intelligent, hardworking, cheerful and positive and very popular among her peer group. We will miss her very much."
Here are Harry and Louis Tomlinson's reactions to the sad news on Twitter:
