Homeland Season 4 Spoilers from Mandy Patinkin on if Brody will return from the dead

Homeland made the bold but somewhat expected decision to kill Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) in the Season 3 finale. The show hit the reset button and Carrie (Claire Danes) will begin Season 4 abroad as she gets back to being a true CIA agent. But some fans are still upset over Brody's death and are clinging to the hope that the fan-favorite character will return somehow in Season 4.

That question came up in the "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online, and it turns out that Mandy Patinkin, who plays Saul Berenson, has his own ideas about Brody for Season 4:

"Riley: I'm still in shock that Homeland killed off my favorite character! Any chance that we could still see Brody next year?
Don't worry Homeland lover, you're not alone. We're still pretty torn up over Brody's shocking demise as well. The good news is that we recently caught up with star Mandy Patinkin and he doesn't think that this will be the last of the sexy spy. When asked if fans should still have hope for seeing Brody again, the actor was very positive with his response: 'I would say so. I don't think it will be a regular occurrence, but I think it will be an emotional, occasional occurrence,' he said."

Any Brody comeback would likely be in the form of a flashback or dream sequence, unless Homeland pulls a completely absurd resurrection after literally hanging Brody in the square.

What do you think, Homeland fans? Do you want Brody to come back? Should he come back? Let us know in the comments below.
