Hugh Grant had a secret love child baby boy with Anna Elisabet Eberstein in September 2012, 3 months before his second child with Tinglan Hong

It might not sound too shocking, but it was revealed this week that British actor Hugh Grant has a secret baby with Swedish TV producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein, who is not his current girlfriend. The child, named Hugh John Mungo Grant, was born in September of 2012, which was about 3 months before his second child, Felix, with partner Tinglan Hong was delivered. The love child's birth certificate was re-registered back in December of 2013, with Grant's paternity officially noted on the document.

"They were pregnant with Hugh's children at the same time," a source told The Sun. "It's an unusual arrangement."

It is unclear whether or not Hong and Eberstein were aware of the similar situations they were in at the time.

"Anna is being supported by Hugh all the way," the insider said. "She lives in a very comfortable property in West London and knows that Hugh is there for her.  Anna's parents in Sweden know all about the relationship and she has their blessing."

Hugh's first child with Hong, Tabitha Xaio Xi Hong Grant, was apparently as much of a surprise as his son with Eberstein. While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011, the actor admitted that becoming a father had a "life-changing" effect on him.

"Everyone was right all these years, saying: 'Hugh, why don't you have some children? It changes your life.' Now that I have a child, it is life-changing. I recommend it. Get some," he said. "I can't pretend it wasn't a little bit of a surprise. But it's a very nice surprise. In fact, the baby's name in Chinese, because the mother's is Chinese, means 'happy surprise'."
