Jermaine Dupri backs Justin Bieber, says singer is a victim of celebrity profiling
More celebrities are weighing in on Justin Bieber's latest run in with the law and it seems like many of them are sympathizing with him. The latest to give their two cents on the Bieb is producer Jermaine Dupri.
According to TMZ, the So So Def CEO thinks Bieber was a victim of celebrity profiling by Miami Beach PD.
Interesting take, don't you think? Well, it seems as though JD knows about the Miami Beach PD as he has had his own run in with them.
JD says back in December, he was targeted by South Florida cops and was almost arrested during a routine traffic stop. JD claims the law pulled him over and accused him of drug possession.
Dupri tried to explain to the cops that clubs allow attendees to smoke inside their facilities, saying that's where the smell originated. Despite his argument, the officials went on with their search and found nothing in return.
JD says that was probably how the incident went down with Bieber also. He told TMZ: cops know if they pull over people leaving the clubs "9 times outta 10 they gonna find something."
However, the cops don't really have much on Bieber as of late.
Jermaine Dupri did say that Bieber slipped up on one point though, being way too flashy on the strip saying, "He brought attention to himself with the car (the canary yellow Lambo)."
What do you think of all of these celebrities supporting Justin Bieber?
