After all the speculation, rumors and hearsay about the Man of Steel sequel known as Batman vs. Superman, it seems that principal production finally underway in Michigan as numerous fans have spotted Henry Cavill, who plays Clark Kent/Superman, on location.

Latino Review reports the following on the superhero film:

"Okay, fanboy nation, Henry Cavill is in Michigan. Since arriving, he's been hanging out where common folks are known to dwell. That would be local restaurants, pubs, and the like. But that's not all. He's been remarkably loose-lipped about his activities, and a couple of his chance encounters with the local peasants may have revealed some juicy news from up high on DC Entertainment Mountain. As you know, DC and WB have been pretty tight-lipped. Or maybe they've been downright confusing ('We're delaying production to fine-tune!' 'NO, WE'RE NOT! THERE ARE NO DELAYS!'). But maybe, just maybe, it's Cavill himself who will spill the beans we've been clamoring for."

The fans that have reportedly spotted Cavill (the photos in the Latino Review article were supposedly taken within the last few days) have noted several details about the sequel. Firstly, principal photography has begun on the film. Secondly, Superman will have a beard, which Latino Review's Mario-Francisco Robles reports means Superman is in exile.

Cavill reportedly said that he would be filming for the next 10 months, which some fans took to mean that he would work on a Justice League movie, too. The actor is also reportedly on a strict training regimen, though that is to be expected.

In other Batman vs. Superman news, Comic Book Movie reports that Matthew Goode recently had a meeting with Warner Bros. executives about an undisclosed role in the movie. Goode previously worked with director Zack Snyder on Watchmen, in which he played Ozymandias. He also reportedly was on the shortlist for Superman in Man of Steel and The Hollywood Reporter notes he was also in contention for Batman for this movie.
