Is Lana Del Rey 'secretly engaged' to boyfriend Barrie-James O'Neill since July 2013?

It turns out Lana Del Rey could have been engaged since the summer of 2013. This news might be a bit random and very delayed, but this rumor recently came up after sources claimed it to be true. Do you think Lana and her longtime boyfriend Barrie-James O'Neill are actually engaged?

Though the 27-year-old singer's representative have yet to confirm this rumor after being contacted by the media, numerous sources are insisting that the young couple is indeed set to be married. O'Neill, a fellow musician that performs in the Scottish band Kassidy, reportedly popped the question to Lana over the summer.

Back in July of 2013, Del Rey was spotted with what many thought to be an engagement ring, but she hasn't worn it since. Was this actually an engagement right or are the tabloids just hoping for some great wedding gossip?

Though the couple hasn't officially announced this engagement, it is clear that they are in love. Back in 2012, Lana gave an interview about her music explaining that not all of her music is about the loss of love. In fact, her song "Off to the Races" is most likely about O'Neill.

"When I found somebody who I fell in love with, it made me feel different than I felt the rest of the day. It was electrifying. That's what inspired the 'Off to the Races' melodies," she explained back in 2012. "That's one of the times when you're feeling electrified by someone else and they make you happy to be alive."
