Tyler Farr's "Redneck Crazy" slammed by Staind's Aaron Lewis

Let's get this out of the way up front. Modern radio country isn't the best (with rare exception...Hi, Kacey Musgraves!). The Nashville sound has allowed the setting to become the substance, morphing from a genre of storytellers whose tales just happened to be in the backwoods, to a form of twang pop that fetishizes all things country the way some singers glorify getting blackout drunk. Tyler Farr's "Redneck Crazy" is a particularly egregious example with a healthy side of felony stalking. Aaron Lewis of Staind ('member him?) took offense to the terrible hit, re-writing the lyrics to the song to take the track to task over it's creepy vibe.
