An unknown rooftop will be the next destination for Blur on July 2nd. The brit-pop band will present two new songs "The Puritan" and "Under the Westway" in a live broadcast through Twitter.

Expect to see "completely different sides of Blur" in these two tracks. Bassist Alex James stated on Youtube, "There's "The Puritan," which is a big and bouncy, up and at-em sing-along special. And "Under the Westway" is more hymn. But I think they'll both go down rather well."

More details about the rooftop show will be revealed on the band's twitter: @ blur official.

The two songs were written for the Hyde Park show on August 12, marking the end of the Olympics.

The August show may be the final event for the band which includes Damon Albarn, Alex James, Graham Coxon and Dave Rowntree.
