Caught on Camera: Outraged homeowner steals WWSB news reporter's car
Josh Taylor, a news reporter for Sacrasota's ABC station WWSB was in for a surprise while on his job. Taylor was investigating what could be a possible rental property scam in Florida this weekend when he was carjacked.
The reporter was shooting footage of a disagreement in Venice, Florida when a woman revealed that a rental property was being advertised as a house that didn't exist. The house was said to be 11 bedrooms, but really only five bedrooms due to a building code violation.
As Taylor arrived to the home to set up his camera and begin shooting, a woman by the name of Jean Price approached him. According to People, Price previously worked for the home owner, a local chiropractor Dr. Craig Siegal and she currently watches out for the home.
Price stormed towards Taylor as he filmed her while she yelled, "get out" and told the reporter to leave. Taylor obviously was in for a surprise as he kept the camera rolling and didn't expect Price to get in his station car and drive away.
It is unknown at this time, if the State Attorney's office will charge Price with grand theft auto. See the video now.
