New Scandal Season 3 sneak peek video shows awkward lunch between Olivia Pope and Mellie Grant

Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) have always had an interesting relationship on ABC's Scandal. Both have been romantically involved with President Fitzgerald Grant (sometimes at the same time!) and the two have a frosty relationship, but Mellie seems to understand what Olivia means to her husband, along with what she can do for him.

The show does not return until Thursday, Feb. 27, but the show's official Facebook page has offered a new glimpse into the second half of Season 3 with a short sneak peek video. The page challenged fans to click on a banner in order to unlock the teaser, and it took about 12 seconds (we may be slightly exaggerating) for fans to reach the goal. Check out the video below:

So Mellie wants to turn Olivia into a "respectable woman," does she? It seems pretty clear from the paparazzi in the window that Mellie knows something is up, but it's hard to tell exactly what that is from the video. Maybe Olivia and Fitz are actually together now, though that would require a whole lot of twists and turns that the show may not be ready to make yet.
