Justin Bieber does NOT have cancer - so Beliebers, beware of this morbid haox currently going viral on Twitter...

Some "pranksters" recently launched a disturbing social media trend entitled "#BaldForBieber" - calling for all diehard fans of the "Believe" crooner to shave their heads in support of the singer's newfound illness.

This is all bogus. And joking about cancer is NOT funny in the least.

According to HollywoodLife.com, a fake Twitter account posing as Entertainment Tonight tweeted:

"Pop Star Justin Bieber was diagnosed with cancer earlier this morning. Bieber fans are shaving their heads to show their support."

This post was later deleted, but then a ridiculous "Justin Bieber has cancer!" support page started going viral on Facebook.

Again, not funny.

This disturbing rumor initially surfaced back in Fall 2012 with the Twitter handle @BaldForBieber. It was untrue then, too.

But it gets worse - a BaldForBieber.com website even exists. When fans click on the link, it brings you to a page entitled "Best Women's Beauty Salons All Over the World." Okay, then...

Check out the viral Twipics:

Crazy - the Biebs does NOT have cancer, so Beliebers, PLEASE don't shave your heads in support of the cause.
