Thanks to social media, it's no secret which of our favorite celebs are smoking pot and it seems like just about everyone is doing it. And for that reason, Jets CB Antonio Cromartie feels like NFL higher ups shouldn't mind the players using.

Cromartie recently sat down with Thisis50.com and offered this simple solution to concern over usage of marijuana in the NFL: "They need to just let it go."

When asked to elaborate, Cromartie had this to say:

"Players are just going to do it anyway. They just need to let it go. They just need to go ahead and say, 'Y'all go ahead and smoke it, do what you need to do.'"

According to Brendon Ayanbadejo, former Chicago Bear and Baltimore Raven, players have already been doing it as he says he witnessed players smoking marijuana before the Super Bowl. He wouldn't say which players or which Super Bowl.

After the interview was released, Cromartie decided to backtrack his statements via Twitter. He sent out a tweet saying, "The interview that I did on the weed policy, I never said We're I said tht Players will smoke anyway. I don't smoke so I don't care about it."

He then went on to send out this tweet: "I guess when there's nothing to talk in the football world this is what happens."

What do you think of Antonio Cromartie's statement? What do you think off the tweets he sent out? Do you think he really said that?
