What's up with Shia LaBeouf?

The 27-year-old actor has been stirring up some drama in Hollywood lately... and his weird antics just don't seem to end.

First, LaBeouf attended a press conference at Berlin's International Film Festival on Sunday (Feb. 8) in promotion of his new erotic film, "Nymphomanic." He took the stage alongside Uma Thurman, Christian Slater, Stellan Skarsgard, and movie director Lars von Trier. When asked about the film's intense sex scenes, LaBeouf took a sip of water and simply replied, "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much."

He then got up and walked away.

Some people thought the abrupt walk-off was actually pretty funny, considering LaBeouf copied the move from French soccer player Eric Cantona's awkward interview in 1995:

Not sure what the connection is, though...

Then later on that day, LaBeouf attended the Red Carpet premiere of "Nymphomanic" - wearing a brown paper bag over his head.

Written in bold letters was the phrase "I Am Not Famous Anymore." Do Mstars readers think he made a major jerk move, or what?

LaBeouf insists that his bizarre behavior is simply an attempt at "performance art."
