Shayne Lamas miscarriage leads to scary coma: 'The Bachelor' beauty loses unborn baby with 'TheDirty' hubby Nik Richie after tragic pregnancy complications

TMZ confirms that former "The Bachelor" contestant Shayne Lamas experienced a tragic miscarriage during emergency surgery on Sunday (Feb. 9). Such troublesome pregnancy complications has now left Lamas in a coma, and she cannot breathe on her own. The reality starlet's husband Nik Richie remains close by her side during this unfortunate time.

Just last month, reports confirmed that Lamas was expecting her second child with Richie. She was already 16 weeks along in the pregnancy.

But on Sunday evening (about 7:35 pm), law enforcement sources claim that paramedics arrived to the couple's home in OC after Lamas suddenly collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital. Doctors quickly determined determined that Lamas (daughter of Lorenzo Lamas) was bleeding internally around her uterus. The situation was deemed dire, and doctors didn't know what to do, so they called in specialists.

During emergenct surgery, Lamas lost her unborn child. She now remains in a coma, but doctors predict a full and optimistic recovery.

Richie (founder of TheDirty.com) and Mr. Lamas remain by the "General Hospital" starlet's side.

Lamas gave birth to her first daughter Dahl with Richie back in 2011.
