Fans of The Walking Dead last saw baby Judith during the Governor's attack on the prison in the midseason finale. Rick and Carl were preparing to flee when they saw her car seat covered in blood. Fans have since wondered if the baby is even alive and, if so, her whereabouts. A new international teaser for the next episode of the AMC hit seems to have answered that question.

The promo shows that Tyreese (Chad Coleman) has baby Judith with him. The clip below, which is unfortunately not of the best quality, shows Tyreese with the baby in his arms in the woods:

In the comics, Judith does not survive the prison attack. Lori is shot during the chaos and falls on top of the baby, which kills her. AMC likely did not want to go that route on television, so some fans figured they would kill her off screen (hence the bloody car seat).

Here's what showrunner Scott Gimple told EW.com about Judith prior to last week's episode:

"I'm going to start with the not awesome thing: Judith was a baby in a place with free-roaming walkers, so the math isn't very good there. On top of that, there's things we wouldn't show on television...so there's that. But the awesome thing is that the answers to a lot of these questions come sooner rather than later. These answers will come quite quickly."

What do you think of this development? Should the show have stuck more closely to the comics? Let us know in the comments below.
