'House of Cards' star Kate Mara reveals season 2 details and spoilers in sexy GQ photo spread [PHOTOS]

After an incredible first season on Netflix, the streaming service's original series House of Cards is returning for a second season on February 14, 2014. In order to fully capitalize on the Valentine's Day release of the season, GQ Magazine is running a sexy photo spread and interview with young star Kate Mara. In the interview portion of the article, Mara reveals her influences for her character as well as some juicy season two details! (SPOILERS to follow)

When asked about what we can expect from the second season, Mara gave some hints for fans wondering if the "dials " would be turned up in 2014.

"I mean, the dials were really high in the first season," Mara said. " [Creator] Beau Willimon has a very big imagination. And he and our writing staff, I think they really pulled through this season. Because it's hard to top all the things that happened last season. Last year, before Season One came out, I had seen all the episodes; this year I haven't, so I'm just as excited to watch it like anyone else. Still, I think it's just as surprising and addictive. Hopefully, we'll see."
