Chloe Bennet covers Chicago Splash magazine and offers on 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'
The beautiful Chloe Bennet, who plays Skye on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., is a Chicago native who graces the most recent cover of Splash magazine. Within the pages, she discusses the slow start to the show's first season and teases what's to come for the series.
Bennet acknowledged that the slow pace and plot setup has finished and that the next several episodes of the season will be action-packed. She cautions viewers not to give up on the story because every detail, no matter how odd it appears, is connected to the bigger story and that "no detail should go unnoticed."
"Marvel is always so fantastic at telling stories," she said. "But in the movies, you only have 2 ½ hours or so. We have 22 hours, so it's a lot of setup to make it really intricate and get all the fine details that [Joss] Whedon does so well. Everything is going to come together, and it's going to blow everyone's minds."
She also said that her character, who fans recently learned could have special powers of some sort, will be a part of some intense action this season.
"Basically, we don't know what I am. We don't know who my parents are, we don't know what my parents are. And there's even more that we could not know about," Bennet said. "I get the scripts and I'm like, 'What?!' literally out loud. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm weird."
