Nike announces Air Jordan 6 ‘Infrared23’ launch delayed, shoe brand blames 'technical issue'
Nike has been pulling some trickery when it comes to their upcoming sneaker releases. The shoe brand totally blindsided sneaker heads with a surprise release of Air Yeezy II Red Octobers and of course fans of the Air Jordan brand were looking forward to today's (Feb. 15) release of the Air Jordan 'Infrared23' but they'll have to wait a little bit longer for a release.
This morning, Nike took to Twitter to deliver some disappointing news. The shoe brand and retailer sent out this tweet:
"Due to a technical issue the Air Jordan 6 'Infrared23' launch is being rescheduled to a later date. Stay tuned for the new launch date."
We definitely didn't see this coming. Maybe the surprise release of the Red Octobers caused some issues with this release. Who knows.
If you plan on copping a pair, stay alert.
Earlier this week, MStars reported that the Nike Air Yeezy II Red Octobers were released on Nike's website, Nike.com, at 1 pm and by 1:11 pm Nike's official twitter announced that they were sold out.
Wouldn't want to miss out on a second pair of dope sneakers.
What's going on with Nike? Is this just another marketing ploy from Nike? Will they pull another Beyonce move?
Did you have plans to cop a pair of the Air Jordan 'Infrared23?' Will you still try to cop? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
