Jordan Davis 'loud music' murder trial sends mixed reactions to verdict, Davis would have been 19-years-old today
The verdict is in, and the jury found Dunn guilty of four other counts, but did not come to a decision on whether Michael Dunn, 47 murdered teenager Jordan Davis, 17.
Just one day after hearing the news of the verdict, many reactions have come across a nations face. One woman said, "I have a 22-year-old son, and if it was the other way around, if he was shot by an African American man that man would get death row. My son is white and listens to loud music; it is just so sad, so sad. We have to keep the faith, and pray."
Twitter also reacted to the case:
The #TrayvonMartin case was sad. The list of #murdered young black boys since is even more of a wake up call. #JordanDavis @Dreamdefenders

There is something really wrong when a white man's right to fear is more valued than a black man's right to live. #DunnTrial #JordanDavis — Kristen Howerton (@kristenhowerton) February 16, 2014

Although many see this trial as another Trayvon Martin story, and are sad, some have turned this negative into a positive. Today is Jordan's birthday, he would have been 19 years old. Many twitter users wished the young man a "Happy Birthday."
