Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Welcome First Child

Actress Emily Blunt and Actor John Krasinski welcome their first child together Sunday, Feb. 17.

Krasinski took to his Twitter account to let his fans know of the news. He said, "Wanted to let the news out directly. Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy Bday!"

The couple dated for two years before they had an Italian wedding in 2010. They had announced their pregnancy in September 2013 and have named their daughter Hazel.

About when he first met Blunt, Krasinski said in an interview on Ellen, "It was one of those things where I wasn't really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I'm going to take my time in L.A. Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, 'Oh god, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.' As I shook her hand I went, 'I like you.'"

Before her pregnancy in an interview with Manhattan Magazine in 2012, Blunt said, "We want to have children; I just don't know when yet. I'm just not sure about the timing of all of that," says Blunt. "We're both from big families so I think it's something we want."

About her marriage, Blunt said to the magazine, "All I can say is that it's an effing blast. It's just great, and I'm so happy."

Blunt has starred in films like The Devil Wears Prada, The Adjustment Bureau, and the heavily anticipated film-adaptation of the play Into the Woods.

Krasinski starred in the hit television The Office, Something Borrowed, and The Muppets.
