Monday Night Raw Preview 2/17/14: How will the Elimination Chamber go-home show set up WWE World Heavyweight Championship match?

The Feb. 17, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Pepsi Center in Denver and will serve as the go-home show for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Sunday.

The main feud for the pay-per-view is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Antonio Cesaro, Sheamus and Christian. Rumors have swirled about this match and the implications for WrestleMania 30. Some have speculated that Orton will retain the title and then face Batista and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania. Others believe Bryan will win in the Chamber.

Orton has faced each of the combatants in the Chamber in singles action in the past few weeks, except Sheamus, whom he will face tonight. He has lost to Bryan, Cena and Cesaro (who beat him cleanly on Smackdown last Friday) but beat Christian. His match with Sheamus should offer some indication of how WWE plans to book the championship match on Sunday.

The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family is the other feud for which fans are giddy, and the two sides have been trying to intimidate each other for weeks. They nearly came to blows last week, so perhaps a fight will break out tonight to set the table for the match on Sunday. This could also further contribute to the breakup of The Shield, which WWE has been teasing for a while now.

As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action.
