'Rocky Horror Picture Show' star Christopher Malcolm dead: London's original lingerie-clad Brad Majors' death confirmed on Twitter [PHOTOS]

Reports confirm that Christopher Malcolm, the actor who originated the kinky role of Brad Majors in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," has died at the age of 67.

TMZ states that Malcolm's daughter recently confirmed the sad news on Twitter. The beloved Scottish television/film actor, director, and producer passed away on Saturday (February 15).

Details surrounding the sudden death still remain unknown.

The accomplished Shakespearean actor starred in a slew of popular movies and shows, including "The Desperados," "The Great Riviera Bank Robbery," "Absolutely Fabulous," and "Daphne." He also appeared as starfighter pilot Zev Senesca in 1980's infamous "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back."

But most fans probably remember Malcolm as the lingerie-flaunting, dancing and singing Brad Majors from the original 1973 London stage production of "Rocky Horror Picture Show." He later went on to co-produce a new "Rocky Horror" production in 1990 at the Piccadilly Theatre. The show won so much acclaim, that it finally reached Broadway in 2000. Malcolm co-produced the Tony Award-nominated production with Jordan Roth Productions at the Circle in the Square Theatre. 

The wacky story was later produced into a 1975 cult film that's still played in theaters around the world today. Malcolm's role was handed over to actor Barry Bostwick for the American version. Tim Curry also stars as "sweet transvestite" Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Susan Sarandon as Majors' fiancee Janet Weiss:
