Eminem is currently on tour promoting his new album MMLP2. The Detroit rapper is clean off of drugs and alcohol, but he still has very specific demands when it comes to backstage/dressing room requirements. Including premiere German-brand Gundelsheim pickles...
Slim Shady's 2014 "Rapture" tour is off to a pretty good start in Australia. Following a few more shows "Down Under," Eminem and his crew will jett-off to South Africa. He'll perform at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday (Feb. 26) and then at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on Saturday (March 1).
And here are just some things Shady needs before hitting the stage (via Channel24).
High-end pickles, low-fat yogurt, peanut butter, jumbo shrimp, and Swiss mild cheddar cheese. The "Berzerk" rapper also likes to keep in shape, so he insists on having a set of dumbbells backstage.
Reports confirm that Shady refuses to do any media interviews leading up to the shows in South Africa. But according to local tour spokesperson Penny Stein, supporting acts include Jack Parow and DJ Ready D. Concert promoters for Dainty Group marketed the shows as "game-changing hip-hop events curated by Eminem, with ears tuned to the streets, and eyes locked on rap's future."
