Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star couple, Phaedra Parks, and Apollo Nida have caught a brief break from starting their trial after Nida filed a postponement request February 10.

According to RadarOnline, a judge has requested to delay Nida's identity and fraud case -which could land the reality star in prison for several years- until March. The site obtained court documents from the judge which read:

"The Court finds that the ends of justice served by granting the motion to continue outweighs the public's and defendant's interest in a speedy trial. Specifically, this delay will allow the parties time necessary to discuss a resolution of the allegations."

According to TMZ, Apollo has been charged for identity theft after the Secret Service's Counterfeit and U.S. Treasury Check Squad alleged that the former convict created mock-up companies to obtain people's personal information for fraudulent reasons.

The entertainment site claims that the reality star then opened fake bank accounts and stole U.S. Treasury checks, stolen retirement checks from Delta Airline employees and unclaimed tax money.

Phaedra Parks has not been connected to the charges.

Do you think Phaedra knew about the fraudulent activity?
