Former News Anchor Bree Walker arrested for DUI

A very popular news anchor, Bree Walker has been arrested for a DUI in Orange County, CA. MStars has learned that famous 80s blonde was arrested along with her dog. According to TMZ, Anaheim police arrested the news anchor early Wednesday morning, after she was stopped for running through a red light.

Police noticed the smell of alcohol, made her take a field sobriety test, and she failed.  The 61-year-old was taken to jail, along with her pit bull Petey.

Law enforcement sources reveal the reason Petey was taken to animal control was because no one was able to pickup the dog. Walker had her dog in the car and lives in L.A. county.

A fun fact about Walker was that she once was married to popular sportscaster, Jim Lampley. The former news anchor was booked for a misdemeanor DUI, and later released.

There is no word on if she has retrieved her pit bull yet.

Walkers career included working in New York, L.A., and San Diego news stations. She has also been to rehab for alcohol issues.

The anchor is a well-known advocate for the disabled. She was born with a  congenital condition named syndactylism, where two or more fingers or toes are fused together.
