Brett Favre Credits Potential Star Johnny Manziel

It's a few months away from the NFL draft and everyone's talking about one of the hottest prospects, who should be drafted, in Johnny Manziel. The irrational quarterback has had his ups and downs and been labelled one who's a mixture of a variety of NFL quarterbacks, both good and bad, so will he be a bust or a success, and who will draft him? The general consensus is that the Cleveland Browns will do whatever it takes to land him, as they believe he's the man to save their faltering franchise.

When it comes to making yourself a success as an NFL quarterback, it's good to see who believes in you and who doesn't, and it's not often an NFL great comes out before a players drafted and states their belief of the young star and their potential, but that's exactly what one of the all-time greats in Brett Favre has done for Manziel.

Manziel who's from Texas A&M would like to be drafted to the local Houston Texans, but that doesn't appear possible. The athletic quarterback won the Heisman, and that of course added to his credentials. Favre had admitted to not watching him much, but suggested he was impressed in the little he had seen, saying he reminded him of himself at that age.

Considering Favre has been known for his arrogance and self centered nature, it looks good on Manziel that Favre's able to speak so kindly of him. Will this help his questionable draft stock? Probably so. There's no doubt he will be a top five pick, it's just a matter of who, how and why.
