THE FOLLOWING Season 2 Episode 5 'Reflection' Recap (SPOILERS) Episode 6 Preview Clips 'Fly Away' [VIDEO]: Is Ryan the real monster this season?

So Joe Carroll thinks it's safe to go to Lily's "family" but Ryan and Max are hot on their trail. "Reflection" was an episode that made us remember the first season of The Following, but in a scary way. We're used to high body counts in some episodes, but with the bad guys doing the killing. What happens when Hardy, the supposed hero in this story, acts like the serial killer? (SPOILERS to Follow)

"Reflection" picks up right where we left off: Ryan and Max were on Gisele's tail and Joe is meeting everyone in Lily's group. It seems like a slow start, but as the episode progresses you feel the slow build of tension and just know that there will be plenty of action later on. This isn't to say the episode was boring, though. There were plenty of layers that made you forget the lack of action, making the wait go by quickly at an enjoyable pace.

Joe has some new followers to meet, but Emma is still pretty mad at him for that whole sense of abandonment. She lets him know how hurt she is, revealing to him that there are no more original followers from the season one "family" other than her. Unfortunately, this new group of followers doesn't seem to like Emma, with Lily plotting against her. What will come of this drama? Will we see a confrontation between the Emma and Lily?

Also, is Mark just as creepy as Luke? Yes. Yes he is, but still in a sweet way? He's got that condition that Ryan Gosling had in Lars and the Real Girl.

Max and Ryan get the upper hand on Gisele, and bring her to a motel room for some interrogation. After almost killing Gisele, Max and Ryan learn that Joe is alive (by deduction). Here we learn just how far Ryan wants to go with Joe: he simply wants to kill him. This explains why he's been so secretive with Mike and the FBI, but what lengths will he go to get his man?

So Ryan has an altercation with Luke in the warehouse where he was supposed to meet up with Gisele. Ryan is shot, kills one of Lily's "sons" and gets away, but is not doing well. Luke and Gisele track Ryan who's acting crazy in some poor woman's house. He brings trouble literally to her door in the form of sexy young murderers.

Hardy kills Gisele after she tells him she killed Max and Luke is very, very upset. It's interesting to see him in such a state.

Meanwhile, Lily has been trying to get some alone time with Joe. It seems like she wants to get intimate, by the way she's acting, but instead she brings him to a hostage, Wendy Porter, in some sort of killing room. Joe doesn't like this, but still "gets his groove on" in more ways than one.

So what should we expect in tonight's episode, "Fly Away"? Here are some preview clips and a trailer for the newest episode of The Following:
