'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star Sarah Michelle Gellar reveals Angel or Spike, favorite episodes and more in Reddit AMA

Sarah Michelle Gellar joined the long line of celebrities to host a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) and the actress revealed her thoughts about several Buffy The Vampire Slayer topics, including the heated "Angel or Spike" debate her favorite episodes and more.

Let's get this first one out of the way. Spike or Angel? "ANGEL," she stated in all caps. When asked the same question later in the session, she replied, "Still Angel." Gellar also said she prefers Coke Zero over Pepsi, while we're on the subject of choosing things.

Gellar, who currently stars on the CBS sitcom The Crazy Ones alongside Robin Williams, also revealed that her favorite episodes of Buffy are "The Prom," "Hush" and "The Body." She chose the first one "because I just love that whole story, and I thought it just encapsulated the show so well. It was beautiful and heartbreaking."

She chose the second one "because I think it's not just the scariest episode we've ever done but the challenge to do a silent episode - I thought it would be easy but it was way harder."

And she chose the third one (which many call one of the best, if not the best, episode in the whole series) "because it was beyond difficult and heart wrenching to shoot, and I don't know if many people know this, but my entire first scene was all done in one take. It was 4-5 minutes of one long take."

Gellar also said she kept anything from the said, and she replied, "I think my favorite is that my makeup artist had made a special stake for me with a little bottle of holy water, and to this day I keep it by my bed."
