Arsenal Stutter Away to Stoke

Every year Arsenal seem to have a sluggish period that's detrimental to their ambitions, and that seems to be a problem yet again. The Gunners are hopeful of winning the Champions League and the Premier League, but after a 2-0 loss to Munich they followed it up with a surprise 1-0 defeat away at struggling Stoke.

Arsene Wenger appears capable of creating a good team, but no longer does he seem able to lead them to success, which isn't good enough for a club of their stature. It all seems to be falling apart, they're not scoring as much and super signing Mesut Ozil has been poor as of late, which is sad for their fans as he was their biggest signing in years.

While their season is not over it doesn't look good at this moment in time. Arsenal will regret not making a big move in the January Transfer Window, as they seem a player or two short of success. While they struggle their north London rivals Tottenham are in good form, and their former striker Emmanuel Adebayor is the difference maker. Where would Arsenal be if they had an extra forward of his calibre?

With a tough run of games to come it seems unlikely that the Gunners can fire themselves back in to contention. Many have taken to social media to attack the Arsenal players for their poor form, and for the fact they appear to of "bottled" their season. Should Arsene build on this for next season, or should he walk away?
