Just when you thought LeBron James couldn't possibly do any more than he already is, he proves he can. He was in fantastic form as the Miami Heat beat the Charlotte Bobcats 124-107. LeBron James posted 61 points, which his career-high as he'd scored 56 for his previous team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Miami Heat's record was also 56 points, meaning he beat both his and the Heat's record by five points.

In his postgame interview he told the Sun Sports "The man above has given me some unbelievable abilities to play this game of basketball," He then continued "I try to take advantage of it each and every night." Indeed he did, proving when on form he is one unstoppable player. Some have suggested LeBron would start to slow down over the coming seasons, but if anything it appears he will raise his game yet another level.

The four-time MVP went 22-for-33, and had seven rebounds and five assists. He also tied his personal best of scoring eight three-pointers. Are you wondering why everything went so smoothly? James explained "It felt like I had a golf ball, throwing it into the ocean,"

On top of his record-setting night, James became the second player this season to score 60 points in a single game, joining New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony, who had 62, also against the Bobcats in January. Just when people had started to say the Indiana Pacers may finally beat the Heat in the playoffs, LeBron finds a reason to make people bite their tongues, and wish they'd never uttered such words.
