Wait - is Paula Patton already "getting cozy" with actor Jeremy Renner, right after calling it quits with longtime hubby Robin Thicke?

The "Baggage Claim" beauty and "American Hustle" star presented together at last weekend's Independant Spirit Awards. They were later spotted hanging out backstage, and they even posed together for some pictures.

Yeah - that doesn't mean any romantic sparks started to fly between the two!

But according to the infamous gossip webloid Radar Online:

"No 'Blurred Lines' Here! Robin Thicke's Estranged Wife Paula Patton Cozies Up To Jeremy Renner... [Patton] couldn't stop smiling, especially when he placed his hand on her bare leg while they sat together."

Scandelous.

Then on Tuesday (March 3), hosts of VH1's "Gossip Table" said they had reliable "sources" who witnessed Patton and Renner "indeed looking very cozy."

But could this mean they're just good friends? It's not like they were getting affectionate or anything.

A "legit" source for Gossip Cop explains that the "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" co-stars have known each other for a while now. They simply caught-up while presenting together at the Spirit Awards, and "that’s all."

So, now back to those ongoing Denzel Washington rumors...
