'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice and husband face multiple years behind bars after pleading guilty in bank fraud case
MStars has breaking news, we have just learned that Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, and her husband Joe Giudice just pled guilty in the money fraud case, and will probably have to serve some time in prison.
The couple agreed to plead guilty Tuesday morning in New Jersey as part of a plea deal. The mother of four girls is expected to face 21 to 27 months behind bars, while Joe her husband with get at least 46 months.
Joe who is an Italian citizen, also could be deported. Sources have revealed that the RHONJ star pled guilty to 4 counts ( including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bankruptcy fraud) and her husband, Joe pled guilty to 5 counts, the same as his wife, and another one added which was, failure to file tax returns.
The couple was initially indicted on 41 criminal counts in 2013, for the years of 2001 and 2011.
Prosecutors claim that the reality stars alleged crimes included the use of fake pay stubs, tax returns, and W-2 forms to inflate their incomes and obtain at least $5 million in mortgages and other loans.
The parents of four daughters also allegedly hid money that they earned from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and other businesses that they created and were involved in, after filing for bankruptcy in 2009.
No sentencing happened Tuesday, it will be set for a late date.
