Sneak Peak: OWN Documentary: Lindsay (VIDEO)
The OWN has released a "first look" at the station's documentary series during The Haves and Have Nots premiere. Oprah Winfrey sits down with the starlet after Lohan causes trouble for the film crew and says, "Cut the bullsh**." The docu-series premieres Sunday, March 9 at 10|9c on OWN.
In an interview seemingly about her behavior, she said, "It's good, good, good, good and there's that thing in my head where it's like, 'Oh, time to sabotage.'"
Both Dina and Michael Lohan make an appearance in the documentary. Cameras follow the actress while she returns to New York in an attempt to start a new life for herself. Her sobriety and her unexplained behavior are constantly in question.
In an attempt to resolve the problems between Lohan and the film crew, Oprah takes the starlet aside. "My truth is that I really do want you to win," says Oprah. "If that isn't what you want, I'm okay with it. I will tell these guys to pack up and leave today." After Lohan's objection to the film crew leaving and Oprah giving up, Oprah says, "You need to cut the bullsh**. You really do."
Documentary maker Amy Rice worked exclusively with the project. Rice is known for her work on By the People: The Election of Barack Obama, an HBO film following Barack Obama in the two years before his presidential run in November 2008. She was also a staff writer for the HBO show The Newsroom.
